    Goodness......the freightliner cascadia is a much tougher truck than I thought!!!!! As for Bullwinkle...well tonight's episode is cancelled

    Trust me, if he didn't have that moose bumper on the front there would have been nothing salvageable from the firewall forward. He'd be lucky if he didn't destroy the front cover of the engine or even lock up the gear train too.

    I have seen it both ways, trucks totalled with moose bumpers too. I just gave mine away, I didn't like all that weight, hanging up there nor dealing with it every time I wanted to open the hood.
    I would have kept it if I was running south, where there are more moose, but while there are moose running north, the chances of not hitting one are a lot better.
