Any info on SOLO / J & T TRUCKING INC?

I'm gong to give them a try, couldn't find much info on them either, burr I like the idea.

 

flamingodude and koolkid did either of you try out solo, i just seen an add for them pop up while i was looking for a new company to take my truck too. it sounds too good to be true, maybe im too cynical tho. i know this thread is over a year old but any input would be appreciated

Been leased in to Solo for two years. They are VERY hands off. Like, so hands off they never respond to issues, but since I self dispatch it’s rarely a problem. They are very small (last I counted was 20 trucks. They have an address in IL, but I know that most of their staff is in Mexico. Sounds a bit sketchy to me, but I haven’t noticed any issues with it. My only issue has been the 75/25 line haul split. You’ll be doing basically all the work and giving them 25% to pay for cargo insurance and settlement statements. While I understand cargo is a big deal, there are companies out there that do the same and pay a higher percentage.
