Random news feed wrongness lol. Coke is apparently in a rivalry with monster energy drinks.....like 60% of what I deliver is monster energy drinks.....same company lol.

Coca-Cola is an 18% shareholder of Monster and uses their distribution network (you). That doesnt make them the same co.

 

That was to put it in simple terms. They are so interwoven into each other it's crazy when you see it from the inside. Coke needs monster for the product and monster needs coke for the distribution tho I guess Pepsi could run it too but I don't know if they are in bed with anyone that would prevent that. It's become a co dependancy to the point where they need each other because coke will never succeed with a energy drink (it wouldn't be the first thing they failed at lol) and it is practically unfeasible for monster to switch distribution or try to start their own.

 

It was crazy to see it all when I was working inside a few weeks ago. There is like a good 30 different energy drinks, like 10 of the coffee drinks, a few protein shake looking drinks, and even bottled water, haven't seen the water on a truck yet tho so I don't know if it's new or just a bad seller.

 

All that stuff is so bad. I dont know how people drink it. While I drink soda, I try not to drink a lot. Maybe 2-3 a week depending on what Im eating. I try to cut out as much sugar as possible which is hard sometimes. Eating healthy on the road can be a pain in the ###.
