2016 would be cm2350. This engine, along with previous model (cm2250) had the fuel pumps with ceramic plungers in the head that would come apart and cause engine failure due to the oil filter not catching all of the harmful debris. Calling Cummins or dealership could pull up service records to see if pump or head was replaced with updated parts. There was a recall at one time. If no info. available, pump head can be removed and checked for proper plunger rollers. Good thing with removing head you can manually bar over engine and check condition of pump camshaft for pitting.

Yeah I know the w9 isn't know for fuel mileage..... one says 5.6 and one says 4.4mpg
