I went down 90 a little while ago and I needed self braking on this car for distractions. Every time you blinked there was either a pro street Bel Air flexing or a 68 Camaro lighting them up. So many good sounding and good looking cars down here, the exhaust smell is worth the headache.

Went to a “haunted walk” or some such at Lake Compounce with the kids tonite. Really well done, bout 45 minutes worth.
Then watched the kids practice for the cross Bronx 500. -
Memories like this must make you proud @Oxbow

Gotta keep in mind that Metal was the last part of the British Invasion. Sabbath, Motörhead, Ozzy...etc.
The two biggest American influences on early heavy metal in North America were Deep Purple and Mountain. Mountain was powerful.
There were others, like Iron Butterfly, Vanilla Fudge, Montrose, the GuessWho, But in America, Mountain was the record holder for being the loudest and heaviest in North America. In those days, it wasn’t about being cute and effeminate, but who could rock the hardest and loudest. -
I’m not sure about these California beers I tell ya... something is off with all them
I will say the melons are a nice touch for the night tho. -
Dad and I were too!! Traffic was slow there (Bay St. Louis) so we watched him back into that spot. Picture doesn’t do it justice......
When I was first down there that town was a wasteland (shortly after hurricane Katrina), it has really came back gangbusters!! Lots of grills / bars and food places along the Bay now.
