There are multiple types of cane to make sorghums from, some make sweeter sorghum than others. Also remember not everyone works the sorghum long enough.... ever seen green sorghum? Yuck! Somewhere on YouTube is a video I narrated a number of years ago, I was helping a Freind making sorghum, his were a little green that year, but the lighting was really bad in the cook house. I enjoy doing these old things. Couple of my uncles still have some sorghum made from this mill, that was back in 74? A woman “Dolly Stowasser” was the brains behind the sorghum that year, she was in her 80’s back then. I remember all those Yellowjacket and honeybees on that catch tub lol, they were 100’s of them!

LOL, I'll have to build my money back up first. That’s a nice looking 870, I have a 26 inch at the house. Those claw machines had a grip like Richard Simmons.

You picked a great weekend to bring him for sure. Beautiful weather minus the heat, awesome food and so many sharp old cars. Hope we can get together again when you get that Jeep finished.

" get that Jeep finished " being the key ? :p

Hey Jim, you're alright but you'd be more interesting driving a restored Jeep. ;)

Been a few years since I stopped here... exit 13 I-65 Mobile, Alabama. Walked in and one of the waitresses and the cook started looking real hard lol, she finally spoke up... hey stranger!! Good to remembered in a good way by others! We can be remembered just as easily for being a bad person! The girl at the motel sent a text to her manager.... Hey guess who I just checked in?!! This morning she showed me her managers response, “Oh yes I remember Jim!! Captain Red beard” Lol!!!

Moose you ought to come down one year and check it out. All these cars would be right up your alley. I’d be willing to bet you would see over a thousand classics. It stretches probably 10 miles of cars lined up on the grass, in parking lots, riding down US 90.

It’s setting to the left of that yellow trailer.
I wish, a 75 year old woman drives that.
    I’ll have him call yours.

@shogun could have ruined your rep with that ‘socialism’ comment. You’d suddenly find yourself surrounded by neckbeards.

I really enjoy stuff like that but I'm probably gonna be on a short chain for awhile with the situation here and the folks. Check out the Run to the Sun spring meet down the street at Myrtle. This week is the Fall Bike Rally here and there are two different Bike Rally's back to back in the spring. One for the V Twin's and one for the crotch rocket group. There's even a Shrimp Festival here today. Run to the Sun has been held for a long time. We don't hold back. We even import a beach and an entire ocean for most of these events.
Personally I'd like to see some budget cuts and hope that it would filter down into some tax breaks but I got outvoted. Everybody fussing about " tradition "
" we've always had an ocean and a beach here since before the very first Rally ! "
Buncha people aren't even willing to try out my ideas on ways to save money.
