    How windy was it in Montana today?

    Well, I'll tell you. There's about a 20 mile stretch of 90 around Livingston that was pretty gnarly.

    And since I'm empty, i stopped at one point.

    The Montana web page has little colored circles that represent different conditions and purple means extreme winds, and the 4 dots in that area were purple.

    Like I needed to be told that.

    But they also have a little windmill looking icon for that area you click on that gives real info.
    Now that is bad ###.

    When I stopped it was sustained winds at 25, gusts to 32. And they were hitting me completely flush. I was down to about 40mph.

    I'm empty now. 53 foot box kite.

    So, parked, there was a store, got some Chinese, some chicken, and a new box of raisin bran Crunch for the OM.

    Checked the windmill and it was down to 19 sustained, gusts to 27.

    Lemme tell ya 5 mph makes a big difference.

    I'm worn out now. F/U agent, f/u my appointment. Then sticks head in sand of course.

    The OM & Kitty have had it for the day as well.
