Just curious, what took so long to move the tandems and 5th wheel?

 

Sheesh 5 hours balancing the trailer. I will give it 2 times then they need to work it with the forklift

 

Picked up a load of sugar and coffee in New Orleans with a reefer trailer.
They loaded the pallets of sugar in the nose and the light pallets of coffee last.
This was on a Friday evening. As soon as they handed me the BOL, they locked the doors and went home.
5000 over on the drives.
Whipped out the Truckers Road Atlas and drove from New Orleans to Nashville without crossing any scales.
That gave me about a day and a half at the house.

 

And nobody died. Hmmmm.

 

Why would someone die?
No one died and I didn't have to sit in New Orleans until Monday to get the load reworked.

 

Best wishes to ya,@Penumbra .. I'm heading out for my vampire shift, just remember the 5th' wheel..will only alter drives and steers. If they 'ef' ya on the rears... ya might have to drag tandems (not literally) to the rear... to balance your weight. CHECK your BOL's... scale at the exit of your shipper..... protect your arsk.
CAT's are usually reimbursed; even if not; worth the twelve fifty IMHO.
