What if it Snows?

Got the AC cranked in the truck.

So I have the guy thinking that we are sleeping in the truck. I told him if I sleep in the truck I can have the hotel money and I'll buy him waffle House in the morning with it. He is believing it and you can tell he inst thrilled but doesn't wanna make waves on his first day lol.

 

That was one of those "F.U.N." discussions I had with a dealership when I first got the truck.

What's this $20 to top up the washer fluid and what did you use?

Oh the regular blue stuff that is not temperature rated? You do realize it's winter and you just messed up the purple deicer stuff that was in there? How bout you take that charge off the bill while somebody drains the reservoir......

 

It's amazing how nobody around here wants to work. This guy is gonna get this run from day one. I don't Kno w his pay rate but I was making $1800-1900 a week on it so it's pretty gravy. When I drove for ups you needed like 30 years seniority to get a run like this yet this guy gets it day one because nobody else wants to work nights.

 

So I got like no sleep today so I'm freaking exhausted. How douchy of me would it be to have the new guy drive the rest of the way to Jacksonville while I sleep? Lol. I feel like I shouldn't do that but I really want to. He's good, we are down to one trailer and have a straight shot to the next stop and the rain stopped....all is well.

 

The rain stopped here as the sun set and the clouds cleared. It has dropped about 10 degrees in the last hour to about 40.

I think the freeze point will be hit before the scheduled time of sun-up............

 

You got me dieing over here imaging this guy and the little mind @@ck, your going to give him!

So tell him your going off duty, taking a nap and he should be good to go the last leg. That way in the morning, you can start the run back. Then when your time is up, he can take over and finish out the run and his clock will be good.
