I actually have a set of chain somewhere. Sized to fit.

In 2016 Snoqualmie was closed for about 18 hours. Some trucks ran out of fuel & some drivers going around bumming food& water. If you drive up there be prepared.D.Tibbitt, Lepton1, lovesthedrive and 4 others Thank this.

Thats rule number two. I am the Saint handing out food and water. They just don't know that the tractor with us in it has near on a thousand pounds of the stuff. It usually helps those (Particularly with children... never mind the adults... watch the children...)
Rule three is to understand what you are getting into before you get in it.
And my final rule? My stories of derring do in 3 feet of powder with big trucks is irrelevant and a waste of time. Why? Today's technological monsters as defined in our fine modern 18 wheelers get stuck in 3 inches of wet slush.RidgeRunner731, D.Tibbitt, Lepton1 and 3 others Thank this. -
I'm not worried about running out of fuel. But I have been getting really good mileage lately for this old truck. I would like to see it continue for a while.FlaSwampRat, Dave_in_AZ, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this.

I’m a surfer. I make sliding on ice look good.
Then I eat #### and laugh like a skateboarder.

I was torn on asking about them.Lepton1, 2old, FlaSwampRat and 3 others Thank this.
