I am currently looking to lease a truck on to a company that will allow self-dispatch. I have a dedicated account that I am doing exclusively and my current carrier no longer leases owner operators. Would just need to use someone's numbers as I do not have operating authority. I might also need help with plates, I'm checking into that.
I have a 2018 Peterbilt 389 that is a glider. I have an ELD exempt engine. Not interested in using a carriers ELD, so if that is a deal breaker, I understand. I run a 2011 3000R Utility reefer trailer that is meticulously maintained.
I carry my own non-trucking ins, but obviously would need to use the carriers cargo and liability. I would like to keep that under $175/week, but am flexible if other requirements are reasonable.
