Lose the word 'almost' in ALLLLLLL of trucking, when you go solo, bro. Almost stopped...isn't stopped at all, ie.

Let every day be a learning experience. What NOT to do, is often the lesson(s) most conveyed. ;)

Well folks, I’m officially done with trucking it seems.

Week was going really well skill wise. My manuevers still suck, but it is what it is.

we were trying to maneuver out of an insanely tight area, my mentor giving me directions from inside the cab.

well we were too tight, and I destroyed the drivers side ferring.

after twenty minutes of him screaming profanities at the top of his lungs, he went in to take a shower, then we have to call and report the accident.

Even if Pam doesn’t fire me, I can’t maneuver, and I’m damaging equipment. I really don’t see much point in continuing.

them farrings are over rated and not needed anyway, tell them I said it is ok, lol

Curious, what did you hit that only took out a farring?

If it was that tight, your trainer couldn't see it? if so, why didn't he get out and guide you through it?

He got me pinned in a ridiculously tight parking area, so while trying to get out I turned too tight and the trailer crushed it.

Thats on your worthless trainer. He should've either been out of the truck watching how tight you were to the fearing or he shouldve been able to tell from inside the cab. His lazyness caused this plain and simple

Surely, you are not talking about your trailer, crushing it?? Are you talking about the cab extender or the lower farring?

    G13Tomcat and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this.

Sounds to me like he means his cab fearing was crushed by his trailer.

Ouch, I see it at times, just don't understand it. I mean, you are looking right at it in your mirror, and have it in a bind by that time. Your trainer, should have stopped you, but then again, you should have stopped your self, without depending on him.

That’s the real trick. I saw it, I asked him, he said go...so I went. And crunch went the extender
