Not trying to be mean, but if you saw it and went anyway, it is on you, always believe your eyes over anything anyone else tells you.

You’re not being mean you’re being factual.
it was juuuuust touching the rubber portion. Since it’s rubber I figured it would flex....
ya it doesn’t flexG13Tomcat Thanks this. -
I had to fire a guy once who pushed a blade full of dirt into and over a brand new chain link fence. His defense was I didn't touch it with the blade and didn't think the dirt would hurt it, same sort of thinking kind of. lol

I'm way late to this party, but the 5 hours messing with a load trying to get it to scale means your trainer is a dildo, and has not the slightest clue.
If you really want to pursue this, I'd keep trying.tinytim, gentleroger, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -
So you cracked up a fender?
Get over it and drive, that’s the only way you’ll get better.
You’re gonna break stuff dude, it’s just a truck. You’ll get better.
I hit a parked cars bumper while blind side backing my first month then backed through a garbage corral a few weeks later.
I’m still here and haven’t hit anything in years. *knocks on wood*
They know you’ll hit stuff, that’s why they pay you less.D.Tibbitt, G13Tomcat, FlaSwampRat and 2 others Thank this. -
If you are talking about the strip of rubber between truck sleeper and trailer vertically, that's nothing. Actually routine. Ive bent a few in my time but they usually come back to original shape. Hardly worth the drama and falling on your sword about leaving trucking etc.
Even if you managed to get that far over in angle on your 5th wheel that's a little bit TOO far over and introduces other problems.
I once got trapped in a formal school area down one street with cars parked on both sides of me for oh... 8 blocks. I folded about 8 blocks worth of mirrors and unfolded them after I got past them with more to go. Took me years to stop nightmares about that particular incident. It was crazy and almost worth quitting.
That's nothing compared to other things later in life involving trucking.Flat Earth Trucker, G13Tomcat, Dave_in_AZ and 1 other person Thank this. -
The day I start having nightmares about what has happened in my truck, will be my last day trucking. lol
D.Tibbitt, x1Heavy, G13Tomcat and 1 other person Thank this. -
If he was twisted up so hard to hit the cab fairing (y'all take note of the spelling) just to get into a parking spot, that trainer must've had his head up his ### while trying to direct him.
gentleroger, D.Tibbitt, LoSt_AgAiN and 3 others Thank this. -
Exactly!x1Heavy, G13Tomcat and FlaSwampRat Thank this.

So you nicked a cab extender?
Your trainer should be fired from training. You deserve a beating with a whiffle bat.
The world yet turns. Shut up and drive.
