Hey Guys Ok so i dont really know how to explain what this truck is doing So please look at the vid first !!! this is a 2010 Peterbilt 387 ISX engine with an eaton ultra transmission . It has been giving me all kinds of trouble with electronics and gauges lately not sure what is going on , it has a 2 month old alternator , brand new batteries , have been looking for loose wires all over , double check the grounds and it still randomly does this. Any ideas ??

I've never seen this nor read anything about it here.

I could imagine that there is a problem in the communication between egine ECM and truck. Check harness from ECM to firewall.

I agree, You have a bad connection and the cab/instrument cluster appears to be losing communication with the engine.

Hot spots would include any wiring loose or hanging around the LR or top rear of the engine. Also shakedown the datalink/ splice and wiring behind the glovebox/ Cab load center.

Good luck, not gonna be an easy one to find unless it completely breaks.

    RSTAR Thanks this.
