Like U said Exhausted, the older Fella's aren't "perving".....they're accessing the situation and developing a plan of action or "folding their Hand"
The Youngins would be looking, then drooling .......then grabbing their Phone to view a You Tube Video and seek direction on the "current situation "Last edited: Oct 10, 2019
1951 ford, cke, jamespmack and 16 others Thank this. -
If you front tow one you pull shaft or two axles front and rear. If it's a I shift or M shift you pull drive shaft or all all 4 axles. The only way you front tow with shaft in, is a manual with oil pump. If you dont know you remove it. -
That sure sounds like a lot of work. Guess maybe his load really needed to be somewhere.

Ever have to run into a shop because of a breakdown? Oversized and the clock ticking? Ever have a female service writer who, because she is attractive, has some dude, a local driver riding the clock , standing over her and acting the Counter Boss?
What should have taken 45 minutes is taking 3 hours. Tech gets done and you go back to the service desk to pay up and boogie.
The tech finish the job 30 minutes ago, what’s the holdup?
“Well, they have to pick the paperwork up and process the paperwork.”
How long does that take?
“I don’t know. It shouldn’t take long...”
(Counter Boss becomes annoyed because you’re cutting in on his game time.)
‘You must be new! This is part where of trucking. Welcome to trucking.’
What would you do?1951 ford, cke, Westbound23 and 13 others Thank this. -

Delivered in Post, Texas. Currently parked in Snyder, Texas. 50 miles out to Lueders, TX for 8 am pickup.
1000 miles to Monday delivery somewhat close to the house. Still deciding if I’m going to go out of route to the house or just lay up near the delivery location.
Still feeling a little guilty about the 700 mile deadhead home last weekend.Might get a little chilly tonight?
