Glad you are getting something...
Has anyone ever gotten any more of the the $$ owed to them from the "old stuff" with the class action suit? we still have about $8k from that. We got two checks then the bankruptcy and haven't seen another penny.. -
I received a phone call late last week from the attorneys office. The gal said that we wouldnt know anything until September unless the trustie would release some funds. Sure hope he does something soon it would be nice to get our money back.
opalfiend Thanks this. -
Hi Everyone, I found this thread about Mid-States Express while working on my sister's web site. Her business, out of Chicago, has an unfortunate similarity to this company that you are all talking about. My sister's company name is MidStates Trucking Company, Inc. We have received calls for this Mid-States Express and been confused with them for awhile.
I just wanted to put the word out that if any of your run across MidStates Trucking Company out of Chicago, we are in NO WAY associated with this other company.

Anyone know why CJ is still driving around in a MSXN truck last weekend after all he posted????

That's funny the kids and I were driving over 80 and watched a Mid-States Express tractor /trailor drive under us on the high way! We couldn't believe anyone would keep them on the road with the same colors/logo...(or be brave enough to drive it)..LOL

I have not posted in some time now, but I got a tip from a former manager that is basically heresay only, yet that I found to be mildly interesting. I guess she said that one of the Hartman brothers; I think perhaps it was Bruce? has since relocated to Florida out of fear for his personal safety. Naw, do ya think? I cannot imagine why that might be, can you? Has anyone had anything of interest regarding Mid States occur as of recent? I am quite intrigued by the report of someone seeing a Mid States truck on the road.. What is up with that do you suppose? My manager told me that they owed her alot of money that she has yet to recover, that I told her she would never see. I just wish that somehow, someway, someone would bring the hammer down on these lowlife fools that have seen fit to take full advantage of all of the hardworking former Mid States employees.. But I suppose that is mere wishful thinking, cause if I were a betting man, my bet is that these jokers walk away from this laughing all of the way to some unknown bank somewheres.
opalfiend and luvtheroad Thank this. -
I'm hoping the equipment people are seeing on the road is some of the stuff in route to auction to pay us our wages and such! I know our old terminal has had just about everything pulled out by now. However, last I knew, there were still two Mid-States tractors being held hostage at our local International dealership for not being able to pay the repair bill.
