    I like it when the shower is clean, and the towels are clean and fluffy. We shower at ta and petro mostly.
    I hope you guys think about tipping once in a while. These ppl clean up after "that trucker" - the one in flip flops and in clothes that smell like he takes a shower once a month whether he needs it or not. The one who leaves hair in the drains, and toothpaste all over the sink and the mirror. The one who makes a mess of the toilet.
    I dont know about you, but I always get a nice clean shower. I never have a complaint about how clean they are, and the attendant offers me extra towels and is always pleasant. I always tip.
    The shower costs 15 bucks or so, and I always get mine free with fuel points. 15% is like 2.50. I usually tip 5 bucks. They are always so pleased!
    You tip a waitress, you should tip the maids at the hotel. These ppl clean the worst - bathrooms, all day. It's not like 5 bucks is a bunch of skin off my butt.
    I'm just sayin... no need to reply if it makes you cranky to think about it... whaaa whaaa, they make min wage, etc... sure, I get it.

    I shower daily I'm not leaving $5 a day. Thats a little too rich for me. Generally I only leave $2 if the shower attendant greets me or asks me if I need another towel etc etc. I bring my own towels 100% of the time but it's the thought that counts.

    I agree though they do have a nasty job cleaning up after all these slobs out here. I sure as heck wouldn't be a shower attendant!!

    i never leave a tip. they get paid a wage, more than what a waitress does, who works for tips.

    this tipping BS goes too far.

    servers only get tipped, and that is even IF the service is good, otherwise, i pay the bill then walk out.

    I have an east coast attitude about the tipping. Tend to be a heavy tipper when the help is underpaid and under appreciated. That definitely applies to shower attendants. $2 is the norm, have been known to leave $5 around the holidays.

    If you take a shower everyday. That is $150 a month $1,800 year over a 30 year career that is $54,000 for shower tips!

    If you have to pay for shower that $15 then tip $2-$5. So $20 for a shower I'm not paying that. If your paying $15 that includes the pay to clean the shower. Then TA and Petro want you to pay to park $18. You want to eat that another $18. The TA and Petro at not worth $56 a night.

    Loves just opened another new truck stop on I-80 at Ohio/Indiana State line. Just open like 2 days ago. Still free parking, nice new shower.
