    A few posts back Steve said he listened to morning news and all routes are open.
    Yeah 138 can be dicey...my mistake it should have been 134 to the 210 from the 5

    All the roads are open as of half hour ago, confirmed by helicopter footage of the Newhall pass. The winds are light and the fire is burning away from the road. IF the 5 closes south, personally I would take the 126 to the 101.

    .....had no idea the 126 was even a possible route until this post. Thank you, sir.... I’ve been over the 166 but I imagine the 126 is much less hilly.

    Here’s to hoping the 5 doesn’t close. In Corning on my 10 :)

    Patiently waiting for my Starbucks load to get here from the Auburn DC....could be rolling past Corning about the time you head out. Then only 2 hours to home......
