Medical? I thought we were no longer required to carry our medical cards.

I have been told that we are still suppose to carry it, but have not been ask for it since we started registering them. I just keep mine in my log book, but then when I run my log truck, I don't carry my log book and that is when I get checked the most. lol

Have had fed inspections,at Va.scales before.
Was pulled in to Banning once, many years ago,and went inside to the CHP guys, and they pointed to a guy on the other side of the room at a desk, with a suit on,that wanted to see me. Suit guy,and I never forgot this, said he was from the California Board of Equalization, whatever the h#ll that was. I was running a Md base plate at the time, and he wanted to see my lease, and other related stuff. Must have figured I was trying to cheat Cal. out of 25 cents or something.
To this day,I still don't know what he wanted, but I apparently satisfied him,as he let me go after looking at every piece of paper I had, relating to my truck and load.

That’s good to know, but what a monumental waste of time. The one I saw did say PUCO on the side, white jeep with red lights like the Ohio motor carrier enforcement cruisers have

Inspected at scale on I26 near Orangeburg,SC. Was a federal crew from Florida office being trained by a guy from Texas, a lady from Florida was in charge.
Nothing more fun than looking in your mirror watching 3 people go under your trailer.
Got wrote up for a non existent oil leak, and was happy to get out alive.
