In general an angry mind often means an impaired driver. We'll need to figure out how to troll automated trucks.

anyone who was through Toronto in the 90’s might remember the guy with Russian accent and the base station. He’d start with “Where all the stupid Canadian twuck driver tonight.....COME ON, COME ONNNNN”. My radio would start to smoke every time

Lots of idiots on the radio but it comes in handy once in a while. West bound driver gave me a heads up about a wreck on 40 eastbound early this morning in Knoxville. Gave me a chance to grab the 640 and roll right around it. Good thing too because I was running on a tight schedule and it would have made me late for my delivery if I had got stuck behind that.

I'll key up to let others know about an upcoming wreck or a bear but that's about it. I've almost always got it on though.

I run knoxville daily and it can come to a 5 lane standstill fast. Used to rely on CB then took it out which made me start checking the traffic status map on truckerpath and that has worked better actually. Its more accurate. Its hard to get good info when 300 angry trucks suddenly take to the air to piss n moan about the gripe of the day.

Many times ive been the leader of a successful reroute campaign. Theres a dozen ways to get around a knoxville wreck depending on where it is. I deliver to all the home depots there so that part helps me a bunch compared to thru traffic.

Isn't the CB the way to lead others to a better go-around?

The map wouldn't have helped me. I was already rolling through when the wreck happened. We are talking less than five minutes from the wreck happening to me knowing about it and getting on the 640.

Like a cb traffic maps are useful but each has their limitations.

Do you have to pay for the rerouting feature on Trucker Path?

How do they know to follow you if you took your CB out?
