Got my load and out of Portland at 1145, fuel and "mandy" - break Roseburg 1430, waved as I passed Corning T/A 2020, home 2230.
Interesting part of the trip was Brooks to Corvalis exit, and all the crude, rude vehicles with flags and beavertails hanging out the trunk....cutting back in too short when they pass, brake checking and the best was the honking horns with the #1 finger out the window. Found the OR State / Utah State game on XM....
half time score....UT 35, OR 0. PAYBACK is marvelous! -

Alarm set for: 3:30am
Time I was awake: 2:30am
Thought I had my bunk heater woes fixed. I had rearranged the box under the bed and all the fluid jugs seemed to muffle the clunking the night before, but now it's back.
Good news is I probably won't be in the truck for that much longer. 4:15 pre-trip then it's time to roll.
Not that this is the best place to ask an ELD question, but I don't want dumb answers (funny ones are fine!). What happened to the 8 and 2 split? I thought since I was up well before 10 hours, I would check, and all I had was what I left on the table yesterday. Before (when I was at New Hope on Omnitracs), you would get your pre-30 break time PLUS what you had left. Then post-30 time after a 2 hour nap.
So I could have rolled after 8 and been home before my wife even woke up.
Not that I would have at least, in this weather, but I'll have to take a look at the KeepTruckin manual I guess. -
