CONGRATULATIONS! That is awesome!

Rand McNally was good at updating the timers as you achieved the proper breaks/rest.

We switched to Zonar recently, and I have to switch to On-Duty to get the 11 & 14 timers to update on split breaks. Thankfully I can edit those back to off duty if I have the need.

 

A friend of mine called yesterday. Long time friend from way down South. Apparently he and some others had a discussion on why can’t a woman be a “man’s” protector. I would have to hear that argument in order for it to make sense to me. And it still wouldn’t make sense.

Worse case scenario. You’re in bed with your lady when you hear someone kicked in the front door. The dog goes charging to the door. Your lady says, “Stay here. I will protect you.” Are you supposed to let her go off to face the unknown? Do people actually have these conversations?

Protector????

When is the last time in your life that you had a protector? If I were a guest in your home and the door got kicked in during their middle of the night and your dog went charging by, I wouldn’t let your dog face dangers alone. Scratch that...if I was your next door neighbor and I heard the commotion at your house, I would be there to back you or your dog up and we don’t even have to be friends.

McAllen TX, way down south. Been through there, never stayed there but I figure since it’s a border town, things can get pretty rough.

I’m not sure I’d be able to do much if I was doubled over laughing when my wife said she’d protect me. You’d think it was Armageddon when she sees a bug in the house.
