does having your own authority cover 2 different trailers at the same time?
As in a flatbed pup and an end dump. basically, would i be legal driving a day cab, and pulling either a flat pup or sometimes the end dump? thinking of Chicago work. thanks, Brad. :biggrin_2552:

Having your own authority covers everything. You can have 15 trucks & 1500 trailers if you choose....

That's not a stupid question, rather a good one ..

It's not the Authority that matters what type of equipment you have and run, but the Insurance that will cover the equipment and Load.

You do need to specify what you do or will haul. We used one truck to haul a reefer, a dumper and a log trailer.

You can have your insurance policy read "any attached trailer" if you'll be doing interchange. Otherwise you can have them broke out in your policy.
