Mid States Express, Inc. - Fond Du Lac, Wi.?

Has anyone heard anything good/bad about this company?
I've gone through most all the posts here and elsewhere, and found nothing.
Background:
I had gotten out of the Electrical trade, and had previously drove straight truck for a glass company in Florida. Enjoyed it alot.
I just last Friday, went and tested/passed my CDL "A" permit before I start with a local School.(cost is only $500 more than local community college whose classes won't start until after Feb.).

I did contact Mid-States directly via phone and was assured that even though they "like" to see 6 months OTR , they would consider a fresh grad.
They say after talking with me, that I would "fit" better as a "hub" driver rather than local. at a rate of .30/mi.

Questions are:
1.) this a reputible company?
2.) "hub" (terminal to terminal)? (i neglected to ask if it was all drop & Hook)
3.) .30/mi is this close to standard?

I have no dreams of making alot of money right off the get-go.

Ahhh Monmouth.. just a tick south....went through there quite abit when goin to Burlington... I heard they had a BIG Fire down there what...2-3 months ago?

Well, as far as the day cabs, yes I had seen a few every now and again,
but I was under the impression I would be slip-seating with the day shift.
As far as the cash..with no "real figures" to go on I was just figuring
around 450 miles per shift at .30/
which would be alot better than what I was making as an electrician.
gross out above $600 and I'd be 1 happy camper!
I believe in an honest days wages for an honest days work, but I do take into account that you have a certain "pecking order" to go thru..

Ya know?

 

Lost all intrest in it..
I was living in Deltona, Fl when I got a call from a good friend/former boss.
He said he just got his contractors license and wanted somebody he knew would work hard for him, so He got ahold of my dad who still lived up here and got my #. He put me through 4+ years of apprenticeship, paid a good wage and never asked of me what he wouldn't do. (Good morals hard to come by sometimes). We parted on good terms, and if he ever needed a hand with anything I'd be there in a heartbeat. As I said on my last day, you paid for my schooling, and I'll be damed if your competition will benefit from it.
