does having your own authority cover 2 different trailers at the same time?
As in a flatbed pup and an end dump. basically, would i be legal driving a day cab, and pulling either a flat pup or sometimes the end dump? thinking of Chicago work. thanks, Brad.
a stupid question

Yes, it covers both

Having your own authority covers everything. You can have 15 trucks & 1500 trailers if you choose....
-
That's not a stupid question, rather a good one ..
It's not the Authority that matters what type of equipment you have and run, but the Insurance that will cover the equipment and Load. -
You do need to specify what you do or will haul. We used one truck to haul a reefer, a dumper and a log trailer.
-
You can have your insurance policy read "any attached trailer" if you'll be doing interchange. Otherwise you can have them broke out in your policy.
