It'll be 2 years in November and still loving it here. I ABSOLUTELY love being able to run my business the way I see fit without any hassles or micromanaging.

Good to hear you like it there. How's the freight been treating you?

Curious also, Bennett was decent when I was there. I had a dispatcher that wasn't worth a pinch of goat ####, so I kept myself loaded. I did decent but it was 11 years ago. Do they still have the dispatchers? What about the load board? It was setup back then to update every 5 minutes.

I'm curious about their load board. I am used to Landstar's which listed every price and I liked being able to filter out lower paying ones.

I'm company now for a couple of months with a different company that I had planned to bring my own truck on with after taking care of a few repairs. They use truckstop.com which I noticed does not typically have prices listed. I won't get into the level of stupid that is to me, but I cannot comprehend the extra time I will waste calling brokers with cheap freight to ashamed to list a price.

Does Bennet have an inhouse load board? Does it list rates? Will they work with outside carriers on their board?

If not does anyone know of a board that requires brokers to list a rate? I was told uber does but wpuld rather not feed that giant

Thanks for any help and glad to see their are people doing well this year

There is no rate listed because every load is negotiable, everyone including the ones with a price listed.

If you are not negotiating the rate on every load working off off load board freight - you are getting totally raped.

The brokers are looking for the rate bottom and will offer or posted rates significantly below what the load needs to pay to move.

Are you guys still doing well there? And how long do you usually stay out in order to make that happen?
