    White coat syndrome.

A old issue is pain management in particular. I am a open non contract person which means my clinic does not give a #### what medicines are used as long it meets a criteria of need for care or used as a workaround to certain medicines that are allergy to very life itself. (Fentenyl comes to mind. Stops the breathing and next thing you know you are very dead.)

My hospital has done a very good job using just enough Demerol to take care of the problems after surgery and then substituting something else before discharge. I literally do not have any complaints.

Your doc should have insisted on you getting your B/P under control when he gave you that 2 yr card. I'm surprised he didn't write a script right then. It's much better for you to control it now and not have to worry about that part of a physical. Then maybe a change in diet and exercise can get you off the pills.

You all should have asked the op if his private doctor is certified with the fmcsa and if he isn't ... all if it is moot.

It will with the company that you hiring on with. They requested the physical
so they will get the results.

My experience with Concentra is that they post your results in the "Government
data base".....if they do that I would think that would void your original medical card.

My advice is to stay where you are until you can get your BP under control.....I found
out the hard way that it is a whole lot cheaper to deal with health issues with my
family doctor at my own pace that it is the let Concentra decide what they want me to do.

I am also pretty slow to go to any company that requires me to retake my physical just
to work for them....when I have a recent card issued by a certified clinic. Now if my card is
not recent that is a little different. But I am also getting older.....with age I get more picky
about who I will work for.

I have a two year card. The one year would have required my DO to send me to a specialist for meds which I did not want because it would have cost a #### ton. My current card was issued less than 90 days ago and I do not want it voided by the effers at concentra

Mine is. And also with FAA. (The FAA part is moot until they can fix by surgery the necessary items that can be fixed to resolve symptoms that are a real problem when going up against a FAA Medical.)

I might go ahead and have it done. He just recently put his clinic up for sale. Which is a very big signal that he is actually looking forward to gtfo out of the Medical side Govt BS that has been bleaching his very bones and robbing him of his actual love and desire to help people who can be helped then. Otherwise it becomes a profitless referral and you will never see that patient again. (I personally do not show up at his place unless I have something he can be happy to fix on the spot.)
