Onion Chucker

Are you building the engine right now?
I wonder if there is a way to fill the block between the lower skirt and cylinders like the later blocks. Just for added integrity and block stiffness. -
As long as we don't call it Rod Chucker!

Just dropped it off at the machine shop about 3 hours ago. Getting the crank and cam cleaned/polished and the block hot tanked, decked, cam bearings installed. Getting the spacer plate cleaned up too. If its shot I'll replace it though.
-
Fill the block? Can it be done like later blocks?
-
No idea. Not really going for a powerhouse. 375-400 hp through a single rear axle would probably pull a 12k lb RV better than any pickup truck lol.

1951 ford, blairandgretchen, Al. Roper and 19 others Thank this.

I was just thinking overbuilt under power if possible.
