Where is everyone #5

Happy hour. Sam Adams Octoberfest. I guess they’re going to force me to be happy.

 

They just weaned and we're moving the calves to the feedlot down in Utah. This week the place we are loading is about 5 miles east of the Echo POE.

At least they let me turn around and go unload five head instead of writing me a ticket.

 

Got 2 cans of CAT Power Modual White ready to spray the block with once I get it back. There's going to be some black and shiny in the mix too once it starts going back together.

 

They call that a “good day in trucking” where I come from. Made it to Mauston, WI


Feeling the “ Crud “ creeping in. Got to unload this lumber 2 hours away in the morning at 8 am. Then deadhead back down to CHI to pick up the other half of the Minneapolis load. Should go quick, only 2 long truss sections. I can’t deliver till 10am on Thursday though. No problem though as I’m chasin last week’s clock. Ended today with 2 hours and only get back 7 in the morning. Thursday morning I get back 11 though.

Sounds like @stwik is a little scared of this place so might try his hideout next door? Never been there so you’ll have to ask him about the food?

Watertown, SD on 29 has pretty good prime rib on Saturday nights too. Quiet Little bar upstairs serves food.

These places don’t have the best food I ever ate but #### good for having truck parking and not required to dress up to much.

 

Only good steak from Petro or TA is ground, or fried. Nobody knows how not to flip a steak but one time, even when I've instructed to do so.

 

It is not a “Petro restaurant”. It is a Petro though.

the place in South Dakota is called Stone’s. The bar upstairs is called the Hideout I think?
They have a diner downstairs too. Cleanest showers I’ve seen on the road too.

 

Hmmm, I’m thinking the name that our grandson calls my KW..... “White Lightning “ .... since it will be white anyways
