Could see the smoke rolling up from back of sleeper ! LOL back off of it a little the smoke goes away. Like I stated in the other post, it could of been because I didn't check valve lash when I reinstalled the rocker shaft. Might of been to tight not letting the valves close completely. I could hear it in my jake that they were off.

Made Hopi. Got a preplan for late Friday afternoon to get me home, too. May even get home Tuesday instead of Wednesday. Imagine that!

 

I wouldn't even use high grit sand paper. The grit comes off and gets in the oil passages. Crokets cloth wont.

Croquet cloth. Strikes a bell. Some of us might have seen Crocus cloth ? It's similar I think. Croquet is very fine grit stuff and you can't remove much material because it " loads up " and gets it's pores full quickly.
Pronounced like that yard game with wickets and mallets and grooved wooden balls.
