And I got hemmed up in Vandalia, Ohio... at the 'Chewy' (dog food) place. D/H with a load and pick up an empty.... THERE WERE NONE~! Waited 2.5 hours to get a hold of 'somebody' somewhere, was talking to the wife, and the ONLY person walking around was another driver that got 'bumped' asking for directions to 75.

Finally said....SCRX that... and drove the rig home. WAAY over my 11 and 14 .... pulled a PC; still allowed for the moment.

Fell asleep in the truck in my driveway....getting over a cold that @Mike2633 and/or @bzinger sneezed my keyboard with. Up and at'em now; getting caught up.

At least I didn't end up in Missouri or Michigan....the Vandalia here is quite small. Sleep driving sucks, LoL. Feeling better now; still have to work Saturday (hours allowing, LoL.)

Last post for me tonight. Power still isnt on in this area. We will be lucky if it comes on tonight.18,000 people in central Maine are with out power since this morning. So to brighten my post. Here are some more Facebook memes.

Saw that. @D.Tibbitt .... About 5 years ago, this little kid across the street decided to pace me, pulling out of our yard.....and my son jumped on his dirt bike and ran 'little Frank' off the road.

A few days in the ER (that I paid for) and a lesson learned for that kiddo.... I still cry thinking about it.

Kids NEED EDUCATED as to what we CAN and CANNOT see. Even my doggo knows. I let him jump in the cab when I bring the rig home...and he respects every bit of my rig.

 

No generator? Just got mine primed last weekend. Wife heard '5 days w/o power' (well it was Cali, but she missed that part...) and I'm ready, LoL.......
