I bet it wasn’t. He had a bumper sticker that said “the only thing I hate worse than everything is proper load securement”. He had a personalized tag that said ARK HVY, still not sure what that’s all about.

He was your typical Porsche owner, wearing a Ralph Lauren visor and expensive sunglasses. Probably the cleanest preppiest looking driver I ever saw.

The tag is a tribute to his idol I bet. You'll see that ARK HVY following X1 HVY around like a lost puppy from time to time. I don't know why a top hand like X1 puts up with his nonsense though. Guess he just gets a kick out of it.

Yeah on the Egg nog. 5 to 4 count if I can count? Waiting for my log book to say I can roll. I wish I was fishing like some other guy.

Oh yeah, nice green felt table upstairs. The cue had seen better days, but something to do..

Yep, I think you're right. Being off the interstate a ways sure is nice. I'm always trying to find old style stops for the people, & homestyle cooking. Nicer folks, better food, & less worry that my rig will be bumped by some jackwagon..

I'll have to see if shipwrecks is still alive & kickin'. Name could've changed over the years..?

That's the way I come in. Left York, PA then i68 to i79. Then 20, 57, 119 into Philippi. I had to roll slow on some of the curves getting in there. Steer tire half in the ditch, spread still crossing the yellow..

Welp, looks like i68 was built ~1991. I was 7-8 years old then. I'm pretty wet behind the ears when it comes to trucking, but try to soak up something new everyday. Particularly truck routes, & stops off interstate, & away from big chain stops. Need some variety in life. So sick of the big 3 truck stops..
