This is for lease drivers..First of all they are not in Chicago,il they are in summit,il and you will have to pay your own way to get there once you get off in Chicago.they don't pay for no hotel no Nothing. Don't let them fool you saying that pay for this and that they are lying they just trying to bait you in..they charge $4 every time you fuel and $4 for Def no matter how many gallons. you pay for the trailer, the eld,the truck, and milage on the truck by the time you get your check for the week you will have $200 take home that's right! Out of a $4,000 week!! Then they want to make you wait 6 months to "pay every thing " like all the other companies out here.... they hit you with $150,000!! For a truck!!!! These companies are just flipping trucks I don't have time for that ...I closed the door got on the greyhound and went home.......

Summit, IL is basically Chicago. You did what sounds like a lease purchase. I don't get the shock here.

Employees make income, L/O & O/O make revenue . L/O & O/O are not guaranteed or entitled to income. Well, unless your contract says it does, which I doubt. People should not be thinking like an employee when they want the perks of being their own boss & then accept the risk. You made $200 profit from your trucking lease contract business . Now for an employee that sucks. But for a business thats no red ink & you hope to improve your profits next time. Some businesses go months without turning a profit & have to run up credit card debt to live off of. When I ran a truck about half went to the truck & taxes & half to me. But I leased on, I don't lease from. Because if you lease from? All you can do is get on the Grey dog when it doesn't work out.

Look, I realize they probably buried all those ridiculous fees and surcharges in some very fine and hard-to-read print, but you still signed the contract, right? If you didn't understand everything than you should have had a qualified attorney or CPA review it for you.

Be that as it may, this company has always had a very dubious reputation. Toss in the fact that it's Chicago-based and 1099 and I don't know why anyone in their right mind would want to hitch their wagons on there.

So you started a business that failed and are now blaming someone else?
    Seems legit.

I never understand why people don't get their attorney to look at these contracts. That language is such that the average person don't understand
