Yet another company imposing their own Kommiefornia style anti-idle policies...

"Idling carriers release air pollutants that are responsible for many environmental and health problems...To reduce these impacts, MWV is issuing a no-idling policy for carriers..."

Uh huh... and what about the tons of hydrogen sulfide and sulfuric acid released by MWV?

The flier they hand out also goes on to state that if temperatures are between -10 and 32 degrees, that idling is allowed for ten minutes an hour—how generous! I wonder if they have heat in the corporate offices? I'd suspect so.

They don't really care, I've been there at least 15 times and they have never said anything to me. I use to work there too before truckin. And most of the log trucks that come in are owned by logging company's or a single owner operator there really aren't any huge company's that do it.
