Crete told me yesterday that they want me to call Aug 3 to set up start date. Start date wouldn't be until end of Aug or beginning of Sept. I'm hesitant about waiting that long cause who knows what the economy will be doing by then.

 

Below is list of things I'm packing for training. Any input is appreciated.

Shower supplies. Shaving kit, toothbrush/toothpaste. Medication (high blood preasure), Flip-flops for showers, Small laundry bag for dirty clothes, small bag to carry clean clothes and shaving kit into truckstop, Immodium AD, etc.

Sleeping Bag (easier to carry, can get linen, quilts, etc when you are solo) Small pillow. will use cell phone for alarm clock, clothes, laundry soap, boots, tenny shoes, rain-gear, flashlight, Coat/jacket, gloves,

briefcase, laptop (it's actually a notebook from Verizon with built in card), trucker's clipboard with caculator, pens, ruler, small stapler, whiteout, Rand McNally spiral bound large print trucker atlas, truck stop directory, SSN card, don't need birth cert since I have passport and TWIC card, CDL, Med card, work history, reference addresses and TX #'s, cell phone, Money to survive on (try to stay away from advancements) Bank account info, for direct deposit?

 

I was told I'd be going out with trainer right away which makes since. Why rent a car for me to drive to Marshfield for 3 days then send me home again. you stil set for Ellenwood on the 20th?

 

I was originally scheduled for Ellenwood which is only about 4 hours fromn the house, Go figure ..... lol
