I thought I wouldn’t like the slow trucks either but I seem to like it now, I’m not always worrying about changing lanes.

I have been gone a couple of years… But I used to work somewhere between 3 to 4 weeks and then take 5 to 7 days off. It was never an issue
RoadCall Thanks this. -
Yeah that’s what my last account had our trucks set at, but I was paid hourly. I can deal with it, better then being stuck in the pack of 65mph trucks trying to pass each other.
Like you said, pretty quiet in the right lane at that speed. -
If I'm not too pressed for time I've been setting the cruise at 61. That way I don't have to have turtle races with the 65 mph crowd.

Sitting in Eagan waiting to get unloaded for an hour.... started to get frustrated.... then I remembered I'm paid hourly and I need to chill out!!

Having prime, hulu, youtube on your phone helps. No need to stress yourself out. Keep calm and truck on.

Hey thanks for the reply. No I can't wrap my head around it, surely there must be a limit for hometime and days out?
like working 5 weeks then taking 1.5-2 weeks off, would that be allowed or probably pushing it?
there's got to be a limit somewhere, right? -
Wow, $0.47 would be a nice size raise for me! I read earlier in this thread that they let you run as hard as you want. So if you want 3000 miles a week you can get it, or if you want to take it easy and want 2500 a week you can get that too.
is that still the case? -

Hourly is definitely the way to go.
