Hello, I am set to enter CDL training for 18th Nov. The company wants me to have my updated medical certificate (completed last week) show on my "K4" driver record printout by the first week of November to qualify for the mid November class.
I am trying to figure out the fastest way to have my update medical certificate in the california records.
Question: Can you submit updated CDL medical certificate to a local California DMV office?
Or do you need to mail it to the California State DMV at address:
DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES
CDL UNIT, G204
P.O. BOX 944278
SACRAMENTO, CA 94244-2780
Thanks in advance

I always take mine to the local DMV.
EphTrucker Thanks this. -
Go to the DMV and get a receipt ... Also if you're near Sacramento, there's a dedicated commercial DMV on Evergreen in West Sacramento ... Much quicker and more knowledgeable than a standard DMV.

Never trust the mail with important issues.

There's a commercial-only DMV in Fontana:
10207 Poplar Ave, Fontana, CA 92335
I was in an out of there in about five minutes at the end of the day.

The dmv has never given me a receipt.

I"ve never gotten a receipt either.
Any DMV can enter the infor. Rocket Scientist not needed.
ALWAYS personal delivery. Because any other method ALWAYS seems to get lost.
