Was there today(esl) and had a load 2mins after hitting ready

 

I seem to recall a discussion about truck stops in West Virginia...was one of those the Pilot in Nitro? I pulled off to check out the situation, line out into the street not moving. I dove back out to the left lane drove around and to the next entrance back onto I-64 south and stayed at the travel plaza in Beckley (where I lived for a year as a baby).

 

We must have crossed paths somewhere as I was NB. I'm at the 1st rest area in Ohio on US 35. Construction and a closed lane in Charleston used up enough time so I could not reach Trenton tonight. Was getting late for parking elsewhere so I called it good here.

 

Yes the pilot in nitro is avoid at all costs anytime of the day. Beckley travel plaza isnt bad, but can be a total cluster#### trying to leave in middle of the night. Really have to watch where you park there so you dont get blocked in.

 

That little mom and pop truck stop that's about 10 miles up the road from that rest area is a nice little place if you had the hours to make it there.

 

What's the name of that place? I had some time. Yeah, the travel plaza got crazy after I pulled in. I park on the furthest out row and only had one row of trucks parked in front of me. Plus a lot of room to maneuver if needed because everyone in either side of me had left. Perks of a late start.

Love the bug netting here at Westrock but a huge ####roach strolling on by as I stand here waiting for someone to man the receiving office. Guess I'm not getting taken early. Only got here 45 minutes before the appt so not a total waste of my clock.

 

Yeah I had the time but completely forgot about that place at the time. I remembered it as I passed by it this morning.

 

Ha! It took them literally a minute for me, for something going right fkn back to Trenton. Maybe they'll be some freight there when I get back there.

 

Hahs or maybe pigs will learn to fly...we both can dream right...lol
