I was a fatty at one point.

I'd say he was 150 pounds heavier than my heaviest. Easy.

Wasn't much of a strike iirc.
Guys were mad cause of fuel embargo and subsequent 55 mph limit.
    Couple of shootings.
I do remember people dropping stuff off overpasses at night and doing last second lane changes out east as I approached bridges.
To this day I still scan overpasses for movement...lol.
In 1976 I received 3 speeds in a week, my last speeding tickets.

My husband had a stroke 10 years ago. He can't work. Both our insurance plans denied paying for the bulk of hospital bills. We pretty much lost everything.

Cut to 2019, I ALONE pay for all the bills. I am a company driver. I CANNOT afford to strike. Reality is a bit more dense and complicated than the stereotypes.

Passions, instead of Logic, usually are the origins of all the talk. Doomed from the beginning. Being Organized and committed, is the only way. We are split up in so many ways, That will never happen. There’s opportunity out there for Everyone, just got to find what fits best.Times have changed,This is what most wanted, this is what We got. HOS is the only thing, that most will agree on. The Megas pushed it on the rest of Us. It’s not a good model, Causes way too much stress for the average Driver. Something We should be complaining about. That’s my opinion, The Powers to be could care less. And yes, it’s every man for himself, unfortunately , has been for 40 yrs now. That’s the way most wanted it.Thats what We got.

Well...they got you RIGHT where they want you. Probably right around 1980, corporations discovered that if they pay you less, your ability to walk away is diminished. Who cares about morale or work ethic? We just need bodies to do tasks. It's an ugly business, business.

Why not strike till they demolish the epa and stop California from impending interstate commerce. Just a thought

What’s up with Doctors handwriting? I know they didn’t always write that way, they wouldn’t have gotten out of 3 rd grade. How do Pharmacists read a script? I can’t, maybe I’ll start doing my logbook that way, Lol
