Anybody know if C&S Wholesale in Lancaster, NY will take me early?

 

Ive never been but if its the place that comes up when you Google "c&c wholesale Lancaster NY" I'm gonna guess no lol. Not many good reviews

 

My appt. was at 11 p.m. tomorrow. Earliest I could get it moved to was 7 effin p.m., which is apparently when receiving opens. I want to strangle the fkn dispatcher that gave me this fkn load.

Came from Blue Buffalo in Monroe, OH. I remember seeing one of our trucks turning down Salzman Road off 63 there in Monroe (Right by that railroad overpass) and wondered where we picked up from out there. Now I know. Place kinda sucks. Shipping docks are tight. But they loaded me fast in spite of the fact that I was there 4 hours early.

 

It's a big food warehouse so I'm guessing your going to really hate that dispatcher when all is said and done. I have never been to one that did not ruin your day. I cannot understand how they find anyone to drive a reefer and go to this sh_tholes all of the time.

 

Because I get paid detention while I sleep my 10 away

 

Google reviews say to expect 7 hour unload times. I didn't get a close look at this load but it didn't look like it had a lot of pallets that needed to be broken down by the lumpers, so at least there's that. My plan is to just bump the dock and go to bed.

 

Ugh, trying to decide whether to attempt going thru Chattanooga on to Cartersville or just find a spot to park. Still have 3:23 drive clock, but I'm getting delays on my GPS ranging from 30 mins to 6 hours. Big accident around Jasper. Just taking a thirty now to get all my drive time and look at options.

 

Bad thing bout accidents around jaspar is there really isnt any good truck accessible detours

 

$360 for the lumper. That's more than what I will get paid for bringing it up here.

 

Hopefully you decided to call it there. Usually does not work out pushing on. I do everything I can to not waste time in traffic including stopping early if necessary to avoid stuff like that and starting early the next day.
