Guard Duty. Here is what you do: everyone at a truck stop keep guard. Just an hour or two at a time, rotating. Use a crazy CB channel: 33 or 4. With the understanding that the only reason for using that channel is to report a bear in the area. Swift you got 0000 to 0100, JB you got 0100 to 0200, Werner you got 0200 to 0300 and so on. Blow your air horn, and then announce over the CB that ol smokey is here. Then everyone turn off their trucks, before he can figure who was or was not idling.

Yes, I am trying to cut down. But seriously, why would it not work? Guard duty works in the military, why would it not work at truck stops?

Well; for one in the military there is a chain of command. Your all on the same side and you depend on one another...:biggrin_2554:

I think when the low temperature is 80, we could depend on each other.

Personally I run radar. I've got mine set at 4ton or less. If it picks up a 4 wheeler within 30 yards it shuts the truck down. By setting the perimeter small you can avoid false shutdowns. This is a government spec'ed unit. It came with a USB port and multiple oem connecters. Launch codes not incuded.

    Guard duty? You so crazy.

Another idea is to put claymores around your truck...
