I am so happy for all who have good news. It's nice to hear of stories of things going well for families. It makes me feel good as well. In my field, good news is becoming scarce.
Mmmm... Brickman81... No, I don't think it looked pretty to me because I live in Modesto. I've traveled extensively. I've traveled through much of Mexico and the States, and have lived in England where I traveled through Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. So, really I think I can say, Pocatello is very pretty. Didn't say I wanted to live there...not unless I can make what I make now. Believe me, if my income wasn't what it is here in California, I wouldn't be living here, I'd be back in Vegas where the state government knows its place. Australia is next on my list! I have a friend there, and so want to go there.
Yes, I agree that California has strange ideas about what is good for it's people and now it is paying heavily for it - because all of their ideas cost money to implement. OH, and socialisim is the governemt in business... that's a government that owns everything. As a capatalist society, we survive on private business and consumer spending. That consumer spending ensures there is a load ready for you to haul from one buisness to another so it can be sold which makes that company more money, so they'll need to have someone haul some more of it's stuff. If the government went into buisness for profit, that profit wouldn't necesarily come back to us in the way that you might like. It would become socialistic in the sense that it could control wages...you wouldn't be able to make more because you are more ambitious than someone else. Eventually, it could force buisnesses out of business- because it is in the business to make money but it also makes the rules, and so where would you look for work then, but from a state owned buisness. I'll stop because I think you get the picture - socialism is government in business. I'd rather have capatalism, if it is a choice between only the two.

Well, my dad is happy he will not be spending more money on gas. It looks like I will not have internet access over there at the hotel. Grrrrrrr. I am seriously thinking about getting an air card. But I will have my dad get an account here and post my stories.

The Volvos are ok, but they are being sent back & Prostars are coming in so you might not have a "No-go" for very long.
Your starting to sound like me. Now I'm stuck in KY & my hometime started today. With the area being under booked they don't know when I'm goingn to be getting out of here.
I'm also making myself a thorn in their side by complianing that I can't keep my idle down if they don't keep me moving. I have been swating my butt off in here & its still at 45% becuase of getting left in KS for 3 % a half days when they cleaned the system for the new month.
Why would anybody be offended?... Its true. -
If they leave you sitting then they shouldn't biotch about the idle!!
Well Brick some people actually like Commiefornia!!
I like to visit San Diego just not in the truck! Had a great time doing all the touristy things there when Richo came over from Australia for a visit.
I loved visiting Vegas but I don't to want live there. -
Saw JJ and met 1Bad today. Pretty short and boring day. Ron in orientation says he's hooking me up with a trainer from somewhere outside Boise so I'm kinda hoping he needs to go home for something. Thát's about it for today. Guess I better eat and get some laundry done before I head out later this week.
pandapowerz Thanks this. -

already calld one and got the brush off for dinner. not up for two strikes.
don't say i don't offer some non mormon hospitality.
i don't know why anyone would buy an air card. all phones have gps now. and they all require internet to make that gps work. so why waste the money having an air card on monthly fees when you already got internet on your phone and most of them can be used as a modem. phone internet costs half as much too.
i've been using my phone as modem for 8 years now. LONG before gps or bluetooth was even heard of. and wifi for that matter. -
I bought an unlocked aircard on tiger direct that all you have to do is take your sim card out out of your cell and put it in and instant internet access. Just make sure you have unlimited data.

Hi Jess and Widow, As i said, I am trying to get back to driving and I am working part time hauling spring water from Mt Palomar Ca to Riverside Ca. Any how that picture reminded me of the road we go on to bring the water down the mtn, Lets see 82,000 lbs gross or 55,000 lbs of water or 6615 gallons , first part of road is probably 6 to 7% downgrade two lane mountain road for 12 miles, then 15 miles not bad road then 7 or 8 miles of 7% to 8% downgrade, then 6 or 8 more of not bad then comes the GOAT TRAIL ( nuff said there) between the Pala Casino and the Pechanga Casino, 45 miles of freeway and we are close to the bottlers
any how if you look in the spot mirrior of the picture, you can see the edge of the road, no guard rails, no nada
