Your solution to the circumstance is logical. Unfortunately the world (financial, IRS, various government entities) are not ready for your proposed arrangement.
What you need to do is establish a domicile. You can have a residences in 5 different states, but only one domicile. If you do not establish a domicile, you for example cannot claim a per diem amount for traveling expenses, because you have to "home" to be away from.
Establishing a domicile is not hard, but it has to be consistent. There are various "tests". The state of Pennsylvania has 50, yes 50 questions which when answered determine your domicile. things like:
Where is your drivers license located?
    Where are your cars registered?
Where are you registered to vote?
Where is your doctor, lawyer, etc.
    and so on.
Since 9/11, the banking industry in particular is not allowed to open accounts to a PO Box, you must have an address that shows up as a "domicile" Most rental boxes do not qualify. Drivers licenses with the real ID act cannot use a PO box without a street address also included.
When I lived in an RV for 5 years I had the same problem. I joined the Escapees RV club, which has a program specifically for individuals which do not live in a "sticks and bricks" structure. Go to their website, it has lots of pertinent information on the topic.

My personal goal for this obstacle is to use my current situation to start my new home with no loans.

Personally for myself, I wouldn't mind spending $30-50K on ~5 acres of land my first year or two OTR, spending another $20K on a nice shop my 3rd year, and then putting a manufactured home on it my 4th and 5th year. Then get out of OTR debt free and find something local/dedicated or work for the state with good benefits and no hard work to be seen.

That was a really long form of the answer, "you need an address."

    I'm
    Yes, to this. ^^

In particular I like this article because it deals with some of the potential difficulties in establishing a domicile in certain places:

It is a little more complicated than that. Read the article in the link in post #45 by Leviathan Tube. It describes a couple who moved everything they had out of the state of MN, bought an RV, established an "address" in South Dakota. Changed registrations, drivers license, everything. But they continued going to doctors and dentists in MN. They state sued them and won, forced them to pay 4 years of income taxes with penalties and interest.

Again read the article in post #45. The states that have high income/personal property taxes are wise to individuals who are using an "address" that is not really their domicile.
Florida is a perfect example. There is no income tax in Florida, so people from high tax states buy a condo there, say it is their domicile, dodge the tax. then NY, MA, IL whatever do a little checking and find they still have connections to the high tax state, and sue them for non payment of taxes. And win.

This also happens because of nations and there bad tax policies. Lots of Venezuela has moved out of there due to socialism and the ones with money started buying Florida real estate.

Proper length would be "have address, don't lie about where you live."
