Thanks for the welcome jess. yes you have been a help the new fm Vicki is doing about the same so far as martin was. i really dont think this is an fm issue i really think that central is loosing frieght. one of the guys i went through the school with is having the same problem and another one is too but his fleet manager is cole so hes not going any further than that. ive got a bunch of friends that are saying the same thing and they are company. they are just not getting the miles. i talked to K C about this when central called me asking me to stay on and he said lets try switching FM s so my first load with her was 1500 miles the next was 460 and the one after that is 620 and it doesnt pick up till the 15th at 1400 ill be ready tomorrow by 10 am CDT. so im still sitting on loads and none of the planners are willing to give me anything better. so well see how it goes . im still thinking about leaving the company and going local but well see. Martin and i got along really well he and i were both Air Force Cops and the load issue just started happening last month. before that i rarely had a problem staying moving.Last edited: Jul 14, 2009

Well, I am a teacher, and it's summer, and my man is out on the road 30 days plus at a time... it is easy to get bored ... I've recently moved to Modesto, so my friends are in Vegas and my family is in Chicago.

Central still have freight they broker out.....check out Central Logistics!!
You would be amazed at the loads they have there.
I was reading on another thread that someone took a brokered load for Central Paying $1.75 a mile.
Have you tried calling the receiver and seeing if they will take the load earlier? JJ always calls to see if they will take it earlier........around 50% will take the load earlier. -
Actually i do that and when i do about half the time as you say some do and some dont take it early. its the time between loads that im having a problem with. 24 to 48 hours sometimes between loads. The worst load i was under that i sat on was a walmart load from americold in atlanta going 180 mi to a D/C in brundige AL. went to kroger the night before the pickup, ran out of time there so i couldnt pick up the americold load on time. it was supposed to be a pre load but naturally it wasnt. found out when i called americold that they didnt ahve any of our trailers and i didnt have time for a live load so i went to conley for the night and let dispatch know id pick it up the following day. when i get there they say im a work in and not only that but id be the last truck they loaded that day. id got there at 1130 and didnt leave till 1800 by then i was going to be late for the 1800 appt time at walmart in brundige. i called them up to let them know id be late they said if i was ging to be more than an hour late that id have to reschedual. btw this is all on a friday. so they said that our C/S would have to reschedual with the vendors and since it was a weekend it wouldnt be till monday when that call would be made and when it was the appt was for tuesday. and i couldnt get a drop. talkabout a waste of time and money.
