    sound like you got something going one with the valves from what i hear to same like @QUALITYTRUCK said, probably exhaust or maybe engine brake getting stuck take it somewhere get it checked out before causing any bigger damage.

    I talked to my mechanic he said it might be your EGR valve and I'll get home look up a computer and check what's going on truck drives normal no power loss nothing at all could EGR causes valve

    This issue is one of the very few these days that a laptop is not going to help you. Have to revert back to good ole fashioned mechanical troubleshooting.

    I trust my mechanic so far he knows what his doing did a lot of work on my truck he saying this is something new to him I'm sure he can figure out

    My mechanic found a problem my valves were too tight as soon as he fixed that everything's normal I got power no more thumping noise or popping noise
