U.S. Express Lease Purchase

    So I’ve been with this company 90 days now. I’ve actually stayed out this entire time. Not my first time leasing. I leased right after trucking school at Prime inc for almost two years. I made good money but I hated the company and couldn’t stand it anymore. Anyway, I’m already strongly considering leaving US Express. I’ve been barely scraping by and I try to stay at companies at least a year but the pennies I’m making here are not making this seem sustainable. I keep my fuel cost low and I drive between 55-58. I’ve been averaging about 900 a week before taxes. I’m going to try requesting a bew fleet manager but I’ll probably leave. Any advice or relevant experience would be greatly appreciated.

    Find a good line haul company and "take home" $1200 to $1500 weekly as a company driver.
    Same with a decent tanker company.
    Lease-purchase a truck is no different than gambling at a Las Vegas casino.

    What's the delta between the $900 you're making and what your business plan said your were going to make? Then what are the causal factors of that delta? Then figure out the actions to close the gap.

    If you can't do that, doesn't matter where you go, you'll fail.
