Across the road was R&R seafood, they have one of the best baked taters around crammed full of BBQ! And of course the Derail Diner is good on over a good ways. If anyone passing through likes macaroni & cheese, Dempsey’s off exit 13 on I-10 in Mississippi is 2nd to none!! They use to be on Lower Bay road outside Waveland, Mississippi then moved a few years after Katrina. Use to stop there of the evenings and eat on the way in from a day on the rail. They use to have the best Flounder stuffed with crabmeat around, as well as the macaroni and cheese! Sorry got to thinking back.....

Ahem, have you forgotten about The Shed BBQ? Whole hog winners at the world championships in 2013, 2015 and 2018, and overall world champions in 2015 and 2018? Come on Skooler!!!
