I’ve done calculations in the past to see if nationwide fitness locations would work, and sometimes they will, but it won’t beat having the gym in your truck when it comes to practicality. -

I'm lucky to get home most nights. I sleep in the truck one or two nights a week, so I can work out at home before I go to work in the morning. However, if I had to sleep on the road more often, I think quality resistance bands are the way to go. They are light, portable, take up little space, are affordable, and you don't need a bench. At home I use a combination of Total Gym, resistance bands, and bodyweight exercises. If I get stuck out one night I'll just do bodyweight squats and pushups the next morning.
