Smith Transport perfect?

Thanks for settin' me straight on that SMX Hurricane, I'm thinkin about giving them a chance if they'll give me one, no way can they be as bad as Swift ( I hope). I knew my first year as a driver wasn't gonna be my best but, with Swift it was worse than I imagined it could be.

I already called them..an got the same ole story...live to far south..i need to move i guess if i wanna try another company...only reason i called is i belive all the trucks do have apu's...and like you said them freightliners are hell too keep cool...but i hear the new internationals are 100% better...i have 553k on mine so its jus a matter of time before i get a new one.. (i hope) thought about moving to pa...but its not worth the extra taxs i'll hafta pay...Just keep in mind the grass may smell differant but it isnt any greener

Mine was from roaring spring I got her goin down on a guy out in the lot back behind the warehouses and ecer since that night she was a royal bi*ch,I was told to load over in the back warehouse back by the OOS trailers well when I pulled in to back up she was in her car goin down on him my headlights lit it up I mean like it was daylight and I backed in to the warehouse never she came over looked at my truck number I never said a word,she never said a word and from then on out she was royal BI*CH.

 

HE HE HE Is she still there? Maybe I'll USE her services and get some good runs and stay busy! LOL

 

Not sure its been since early 2006 that I left there and haven't looked back,probably though she was a good DM other then that I had no complaints I made good money she got me good runs.

 

I talked to a local driver for them a few weeks ago in PA. Said they weren't very good since the US buy. I almost went with them myself. The recruiter gave me less than the warm fuzzes. Bad phone skills on his part so I just let it die. Went with a local small company and really like it.

Has anyone heard of money coming out of YOUR check to pay the lumpers? I've been there 2 weeks now. Had to get autorization for lumpers at 2 warehouses, and got my pay statement today. Low and behold there is $185 in advances that I never took!!! I'm going to be HOT as hell, if this is true!!!!
