new rebuild on 1lw cat! it starts real well, all the cylinders warm on the exhaust manifold except 5 and 6!
Cylinders 1 thru 4 heat up to 105 degrees, 5 and 6 are only 75 degrees. I dont have access to a laptop. is there anyway to test the solenoids or test for voltage when running to see if injector is bad? or maybe do an ohm test on solenoid? it has all new wiring from ecm to the injector harness! it has all reman injectors from a diesel shop in MN.

Did you program the trim codes for each injector ?

Now this is really jack leg but you asked. On a 2505 or maybe a 9105 Terragator my prolink connectors would not plug in.
I wish I had kept records but I was in a pretty poopy situation and it was hot. I used meter on A/C I thank.
Am unsure of the scale I was on but compared the reading on all cylinders. The misfiring cylinder had a reading off from the rest. Do not recall how but decided it was the harness under the valve cover. I thank there are two but that fixed the problem. Those two cylinders may share the same ground.
May the force be with you!

Is it possible that a brand new harness has a bad wire in it? It's from cat! I will check it out this morning with a multimeter.

I sent the trim codes to the programmer, and which hole they were in! I hope he used them! Would that make them miss fire??

Those temps are not that far off. Belive it or not. 5 and 6 cylinders are the last cylinders to recive fuel from the fuel passage. Like spsauerland asked. Have you drove it yet ? Does it have an actual misfire ? When you changed harness did you install the connector tabs on the correct injector (position) ? The tabs are numbered for what cylinder.....you may not even have an issue.
